®60: Manual is important
Description
Who does not know them, the examples of bad - but often hilarious - translations. At a hotel in Bucharest: 'The lift is being fixed for the next day. During that time we regret that you will be unbearable'. In Belgrade: 'To move the cabin, push button for wishing floor. If the cabin should enter more persons, each one should press a number of wishing floor. Driving is then going alphabetically by national order'. Or on a menu in Switzerland: 'Our wines leave you nothing to hope for'.
In his lecture, Ferry Vermeulen discusses the importance of a good manual. In Manualise's 'perfect world', everyone always has access to the right product information. This product information is entirely dedicated to improving human-product interaction, which should lead to a good and safe user experience.
