®60: Service innovation by design
Description
Service innovation by design
The term service design has been buzzing around for a few years now. Some people think that service design is just the next hype. Onno van der Veen made the switch from product design to service design about four years ago. In his talk, Onno shows why service design is a phenomenon that will not go away and uses concrete cases to show how to design successful services 'the Ideate way'. For example, about how he developed a programme with Scania to help truck drivers drive economically. Besides his daily work as a service designer, Onno is involved in research projects on designing product service systems and designing for behavioural change and teaches about service design in a masterclass programme at Nyenrode University
