Description

As a designer, you often have to deal, consciously or unconsciously, with people's behaviour and how you can influence it. This can vary from rubbish bins where people do throw their rubbish in, car dashboards that encourage economical driving, safety on the streets, et cetera. However, designing for a one-off behavioural change is different from designing for lasting behavioural change.

In the SIA-RAAK project Touchpoints, Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, together with a number of design agencies, has looked at how designers can be supported in designing for lasting behavioural change, fuelled by both knowledge and experience of designers and behavioural science. This has led to 'the behavioural lenses', a toolkit that helps you look from the different aspects of behavioural change within your own design process
