Smart Urban Mobility - developing transport bikes for a livable city
'Smart Urban Mobility - developing transport bikes for a livable city'

Urban Arrow develops and makes electrically assisted transport bikes. In 2010, it started with an innovative modular cargo bike, which became known mainly as a means of transporting children. Meanwhile, the share of transport bikes for transporting goods is also growing. Erik Driessen is product manager at Urban Arrow and closely involved in the R&D team working on tomorrow's transport solutions. With society's focus on emission-free and lighter transport in cities, the cargo bike is starting a second life. This means growth of sales and of the company, but also a search for the right products in a new market.

What does the growth of attention and sales mean for the development of cargo bikes?
How does the ambition 'always ahead' show up in product development?
What are important aspects in the development of these products?
