We would like to draw your attention to the Achterhoek 2024 Climate Week, which starts on Monday 11 November
The programme consists of:
- 11 November and 20 November: the film Agroforestry "Trees on my land" with a commentary by Dyon Temming(www.hetbuitenburo.nl) and co-sponsored by the municipality of Aalten. Integrating trees and shrubs into their farms is an inspiration for many Agroforestry farmers to bring nature and agriculture closer together.
- 12 November: A lecture by/discussion with Jan Brandsen: "Thinking out of the climate crisis". Philosopher Jan Bransen pokes fun at us in times when one crisis seems to follow another. Come and learn from philosopher Jan Bransen how an attitude as a debutant helps us get out of the (climate) crisis.
- 13 November: Double presentation on (sustainable) energy. The energy transition worldwide and in the Netherlands (Leo van der Stelt) and 100% solar: match supply and demand for sustainable energy by M. Budding.
- 14 November: Towards a Sustainable Agriculture in 2040 by Meino Smit
- 15 November: Redesigning money for a sustainable future by Thomas Siderius
