Distant future or dire necessity?

On 24 November 2015, the Biomedical Technology section of KIVI and the professional association Biomedical Technologists in Healthcare are organising a mini-symposium on the theme of Information Security in Healthcare.
The security and availability of data is a growing issue in our society. In healthcare, this problem is magnified: the data is often highly personal, and at the same time, making it available quickly and correctly can be vital.
In the symposium, three speakers will give an introduction, after which there will be time for an extensive discussion with the speakers and other attendees
