Nanomedicine, the next big thing?

S.V. Paradoks, the study association of Technical Medicine and Biomedical Engineering will present its symposium on 22 May: 'Nanomedicine, the next big thing?"
During this symposium, several speakers with scientific backgrounds or from industry will outline the current applications of nanotechnology in healthcare and discuss the expected role of nanomedicine in the future. The day is organised by and for students, but is also definitely intended for medics, physicists, chemists and others with an interest in nanomedicine. Various aspects will be discussed, such as targeted medicine, lab-on-a-chip devices, new diagnostic techniques and future applications of nanotechnology in healthcare.
Chairman of the symposium is Prof Dr ing. D.H.A. Blank, scientific director of MESA+.
