Description

Although warships have several layers of defence, history has shown a multitude of incidents where these have all failed resulting in damage to the ship and loss of life. Much can be done in warship design to provide an adequate level of protection against anti-ship missiles, mines, grenades, gunfire or asymmetric threats. You will hear about the basics of resilient ship design it in this lecture.
