In this symposium, organised by the student association of marine engineering Ut Navem Futuri Creemus (UNFC), companies will substantiate why innovations, which are under development or have already been rolled out in practice, will or will not be followed through in practice and what the consequences are. This is mainly about the difference between a good idea and an innovative solution.

Lectures will be hosted by: Arie de Jager (MARIN), Guido Loeff (Feadship), Patrick van der Slot and Paul Hoogenhout (Roll Group), Niels de Vries (C-Job Naval Architects). Chairman of the day will be Bob van de Graaf (chairman KIVI Maritime Engineering). Lunch and drinks will be fully provided during this symposium.
