Description

Bosch has a high name recognition in the Netherlands and this is mainly due to its consumer products as well as its automotive components. However, Bosch also has a less well-known group called Industrial Technology. Part of this group is Packaging Technology.
Robert Bosch Packaging Technology Weert B.V. has been part of the Packaging division of Bosch since 1965, which now consists of about 20 plants worldwide and realises about 1 percent of Bosch's worldwide turnover. The Weert site currently employs 225 people and manufactures an average of 150 packaging machines per year. The Weert site is the global Centre of Competence for vertical baggers, i.e. form, fill and seal machines. These are built entirely according to customer specifications.
Robert Bosch Packaging Technology supplies packaging solutions to customers in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries worldwide. The Weert site develops, produces and sells packaging solutions with the highest reliability and efficiency. The offering includes both independent machines and complete production lines. Robert Bosch Packaging Technology optimises packaging benefits together with the customer, based on product protection, easy and low-cost transport, environmental compatibility, user-friendly handling, brand identity and product information
