NETRAS Mobile Systems BV offers solutions to specific problems within urban transport and other forms of fine distribution. NETRAS increases accessibility without sacrificing issues such as payload, (cost) efficiency and ergonomics.

NETRAS, as a vehicle manufacturer, aims to be a European trendsetter in the development and production of innovative transport solutions, mainly in the field of the smaller distribution vehicles and systems.

NETRAS focuses internally on strategic core activities that ensure distinctiveness and profitability. These include product development and engineering, procurement and strategic production networks and the building of market knowledge and commercial networks. Production is carried out with strategic cooperation partners. This enables NETRAS to develop, build and market complete vehicles.

NETRAS' main product at the moment is the City-L, a vehicle in the GVW 3,500kg class. This vehicle combines a fully variable load floor height with a swap function to disconnect and swap containers. Remarkably, despite all the added features, the vehicle has a substantial payload, thanks to its lightweight U-shaped spaceframe chassis with integrated lifting system. This fine piece of engineering is a must-see.
The City-L concept focuses on faster loading and unloading and reducing downtime. The vehicle can be used efficiently and flexibly, making a significant contribution to cost savings. In addition, the concept significantly improves ergonomics and safety for driver and environment. In the two years since its introduction, the concept has been used both with and without the changeover function. NETRAS has realised numerous applications. These range from catering, healthcare and fire fighting to retail and wholesale, party and construction rental, transport of aircraft tyres and art and many more special applications. All based on the same vehicle. Only the construction of container units differs per application.

An entirely new development is the so-called CKD set, launched in autumn 2007. A CKD set, which stands for Completely Knock Down, is a form of kit with pre-assembled parts. Based on this set, a third party, using NETRAS instructions, can take care of the final assembly of a City-L themselves. This product was developed for export purposes.
