VNV and KIVI organised the Packaging Industry 4.0 congress on Thursday 22 March in Eindhoven. The central theme was the packaging line of the future. Over 130 visitors got to hear diverse stories about the fourth industrial revolution.

Industry 4.0, how to get started!
On Thursday 22 March, engineering association KIVI and packaging experts association VNV will organise a congress on how to get started with Industry 4.0. Of course with a lot of attention for what Industry 4.0 actually is and what it can mean for companies.
Come to the NatLab in Eindhoven this morning. You will get an update on the status of Industry 4.0 (also known as Smart Industry). A conference on developments in the fields of self-learning machines, big data and preventive maintenance. You will be inspired by real-life examples and meet valuable contacts!

Michel Mulders - Partner at PricewaterhousCoopers Netherlands. PwC's research into Industry 4.0 shows that Industry 4.0 is no longer hype. It delivers several benefits in your business model.
Ytsen de Boer - Project Manager Kornelis & Marco Dubbelman, Director GotoGemba. A real-life story of a factory producing plastic caps and transforming it into a Smart Factory.
Jacob van den Borne - arable farmer. An inspiring example of an SME actually using Big Data to increase its production.
Tim Foreman - European R&D manager at Omron. He answers the question of how to use artificial intelligence to take machines to the next level.
