At Royal Agio Cigars, approximately 750 million cigars are produced annually and sold by Agio's own sales organisation to more than 100 countries. A Dutch family company with more than 2,200 employees for more than 108 years, Agio has grown into one of the world's largest producers of cigars with well-known brands such as Agio, Mehari's, Panter, Balmoral and the Huifkar. Characteristic of the Agio business strategy is: customer-oriented, progressive technology, high quality standards and sustainable production.
In addition to production sites in Duizel, Sri-Lanka and the Dominican Republic, the majority of cigar production takes place in the world's most modern cigar factory in Westerlo, Belgium.
Agio offers KIVI NIRIA members the opportunity to take a look at the production here this well-known product with its distinctive aromatic properties.
During a presentation, the history and production will be explained, followed by a guided tour under the name "Agio Experience".
