Shell Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam
Visit to Shell Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam
At the ETCA, Shell and partners are conducting extraction research, gas technology research and testing the key role of catalysis for the move from fossil to renewable energy. But it also looks at digital technologies such as drones, virtual reality and artificial intelligence. Engineers at the ETCA design, build and maintain most of the 1,300 test facilities and pilot plants themselves. More information about the ETCA can be found at: https://www.energytransitioncampus.com

Accessibility
The tour of the laboratory takes about an hour. The ETCA is spacious and there are lifts throughout. This also makes the tour suitable for people with walking difficulties
To conclude
The board of the Mechanical Engineering Department likes to connect with its members and organises this activity for that reason. Of course, we are also happy to welcome KIVI members from other departments.
