Solar Team Eindhoven consists of a team of 22 enthusiastic TU/e students. From different disciplines/educations, they worked on the development & construction of the Stella Vita: a fully electrically powered house on wheels. First of its kind. Which, thanks to solar panels, is not dependent on charging stations and can provide power for all holiday conveniences, such as phone chargers, coffee machine and radio.

During our visit, we meet the engineers of tomorrow. We hear the story behind the idea, design and construction of the Stella Vita. We learn about all the challenges along the way and the experiences gained during the road trip to southern Spain. We will hear first-hand how the mechanical engineering challenges in particular were tackled and how solutions worked out in the end. What can we learn from each other? And what is the next step?

Naturally, we will see the Stella Vita on display in all its glory. And there will be an opportunity to admire it at length.

Finally, we conclude with a networking drink. There will be an opportunity to make contacts. And maybe even make the first contact for finding a work placement or trainee.
