SubSea MultiPhase Pump Development
Description
PLEASE NOTE: date has been moved to 27 February next Flowserve is one of the world's largest pump supplier. To this end, it has several sales and production sites worldwide. In the Netherlands, it produces pumps in Hengelo (former Stork Pumps) and in Etten-Leur (former Byron Jackson Pumps).
On this visit, you will be the guest of Flowserve in Etten-Leur.
That Flowserve is also working on product innovation will become clear during this visit during a presentation by ing. Lex Crop (Project Manager) about the development of a Subsea MultiPhase Pump.
Features of this pump are;
- It is a pump that is placed on the bottom of the ocean to increase production (subsea boosting).
- The medium to be pumped is a mixture of liquid and gas (multiphase).
- The operation and electrical supply of the pump is done from a nearby FPSO (floating production storage and offloading vessel), on which the pumped gas-liquid mixture is also separated, stored and pumped over to shuttle tankers.
The reasons for the development of the pump, the design requirements and a project history overview will be further explained during the meeting.
