Thermal spraying techniques
Description
Industrial applications place high demands on materials. Wear resistance and corrosion resistance are some well-known properties that common materials can often fall short of. With the application of thermal spraying techniques, maintenance costs can already be minimised during design.
Plasma Service's engineering department advises on both new construction and repair of components. With its own machinery, machining and repair can be carried out in-house before providing parts with a protective coating of choice. Examples include HVOF, plasma spraying, powder spraying and wire spraying. During this visit, we will take a closer look at the possibilities and developments within thermal spraying technology.
