Description

EELabels is a family business that has been weaving in Heeze since 1900. More than 100 years ago, they started manufacturing beautiful ribbons for sari and traditional costumes. Now they supply the highest quality woven labels for global top brands such as Auping, Ann Demeulemeester but also Opel. In addition, from 2014 they started focusing on weaving customised fabrics for unique interior, fashion and art projects in small runs. And they do so in collaboration with national and international designers, architects, artists and emerging talents. The precision and finesse in brand label weaving has now been extended to a larger format, 1.50 m of fabric width. This creates whole new possibilities and is unique to Europe.

In addition, EE Labels, together with its Swiss machine builder, has developed a revolutionary label with a woven-in RFID chip. During the weaving of a brand label, an antenna wire is woven in, on which an RFID chip is later mounted. This innovation makes it possible to add all kinds of new functions to the label such as logistics control, theft protection and combating counterfeiting of branded clothes. With this new invention, we hope to give a major boost to the survival of label production in the Netherlands.
