Company Visit: DAF Trucks

DAF Trucks' roots go back to the first half of the twentieth century.
At DAF, internal and external air flows have received increasing attention in recent decades. Now there is the unique opportunity to take a look at part of DAF's production facility and also learn about the role of fluid dynamics at DAF!
Accessibility by public transport
By bus (7 + 7 minutes):
From bus stop Eindhoven Centraal station:
Bus Hermes 320 towards Helmond at 12.33 and 13.05 (recommended).
Get off: Otto Veniusweg stop, Eindhoven.
Then 7-minute walk to DAF, Hugo v.d. Goeslaan 1 (see purple route on map):
Walk into Jan van Eyckgracht to then turn right into Piuslaan which turns into Hugo van der Goeslaan.
By O.V. bike (10 minutes see blue route on map):
On the city centre side (south side) of Eindhoven Centraal station:
Cross the Stationsweg and cycle right past building 'de Effenaar' (building with external staircase). Behind this building you will find Tramstraat. At the end of Tramstraat:
Turn left into Kanaalstraat (becomes Kanaaldijk). After one and a half kilometres, turn right into Hugo van der Goeslaan to immediately turn left again. You will then cycle under the motorway and see DAF's company gate in front of you.
Access by car/motorbike:
From the Tilburg direction:
Take the A58 towards Eindhoven then A50 towards Helmond and then exit no 6.
You will then reach J.F. Kennedylaan. Turn left onto the ring road in the direction of Helmond. Take exit 'de Kade'.
Turn left after the bridge.
From the direction of 's Hertogenbosch:
Take the A2 towards Eindhoven then A50 towards Helmond and then exit no. 6.
You will reach the J.F. Kennedylaan. Turn left onto the ring road in the direction of Helmond. Take exit 'de Kade'.
After the bridge, turn left.
