Description
Manufacturing companies are increasingly faced with the demand to participate in the complete lifecycle of a product. From design to implementation of updates in the field. VDL-ETG specialises (among other things) in developing and manufacturing 'handling equipment', particularly for the semiconductor industry. In this, VDL works closely with OEMs, suppliers and specialised engineering companies. The challenges to successfully complete this process are both internal and external.
In two lectures, both challenges will be discussed on the basis of several cases. A guided tour is part of the programme and illustrates some of the mentioned challenges
