DAP symposium
Description
The Delft Geothermal Project (DAP) is an initiative by students and staff of the Geotechnology Department to sustainably heat TU Delft's campus using geothermal energy. The objective of DAP is to promote and support scientific research, knowledge dissemination, technical development and economically viable application of geothermal energy. After the first successful DAP Geothermal symposium, which took place in 2008, a second symposium was organised in 2010 with the
theme 'Growing with Geothermal Energy'.
In 2013, the third symposium from the DAP will already be organised, the theme of this symposium will be 'Hot Topics; Discussing current subjects in the development of geothermal energy'.
The symposium will provide an overview of the latest developments in the field of science, technology and policy. It will focus on the current situation and challenges in the development of geothermal energy in the Netherlands
