Description

Full title:
'History and Future of Geothermal Heat in the Netherlands'

The first 'pioneering' applications of geothermal heat in the Netherlands have been carried out since the 1970s and 1980s. Various pilot projects have been realised, all with their own story and learning curve.

Since the climate debate, the topic of 'geothermal energy' is again in the spotlight, and an explosive number of projects are in preparation. The question is 'What can be learned from the past, and what are the main challenges for the future?' An evening event with a number of lectures by those directly involved will provide better insight into this important question.
