Would you like to learn more about different welding techniques and try them out for yourself? Then this is your chance.

On Wednesday 14 April, Jack de Groot and Corrie van de Vendel will organise a welding workshop. And if, like last year, there is a lot of interest, there will be a second evening on Thursday 22 April.

During the workshop, you will learn, see and experience various welding techniques. By doing it once, you can experience what is and is not possible and what the points of attention are.

The following welding techniques will be discussed:
- Mig-
- Tig
- Pulsating Mig-
- Pulsating Tig and
- Electric welding.

Under the inspiring leadership of Jack, we will learn about welding equipment, the various welding applications and their specific requirements. In addition, Jack will provide insight into the consequences of welding on material properties.

The focal point of the workshop is getting to work with different metals yourself!

19.00 hrs Explanation of the various welding techniques and applications.
20.00 hrs Welding in pairs
21.30 hrs Closing drink

Welding starts at 19.00 hrs. The doors will be open from 6pm and you will be welcomed with coffee/tea and sandwiches.

The maximum number of participants is 12, so be quick! We will divide on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you can only attend on 14 April or only on 22 April, please let us know and we will take this into account. Men are also welcome if there is space.
