On Wednesday 10 May, Ingeborg Mijling will give a presentation for female engineers and students entitled:
How software innovates the oncology care pathway
During her presentation, Ingeborg will discuss how software from various partners support the work of oncology professionals throughout the patient journey of screening, diagnostics, treatment selection, treatment and aftercare. This enables them to give cancer patients faster access to the right treatment, which in turn contributes to better quality of life and affordable care. Besides the content, she will also give an insight into her career!
Prior to the presentation, there will be an opportunity to participate in a Guided Tour of TU/e Innovation Space (optional).

Biography
Ingeborg Mijling is a technical business engineer specialising in IT, strategy and organisational change. Captivated by what technology can do to realise positive impact for people, she started as a commercial director at a consultancy start-up in treating wastewater with membranes. Here, she experienced how a strong customer focus and cooperation with others leads to success.
She then made the switch to corporate business in ICT and medical technology. Meanwhile, Ingeborg is experienced in leading and building new customer-focused departments and business units around digital solutions, new business models and public-private partnerships. Within Philips, Ingeborg is responsible for global installation and service of oncology software. This includes software for applications and for medical devices, aimed at the healthcare professional and the patient in various oncology care pathways.
