NSA New Year event: interactive lecture Inclusion

We are opening the new year with a ground-breaking event that will set the tone for a vibrant 2024!

Prior to the KIVI New Year reception, we cordially invite you to participate in an inspiring and interactive lecture on inclusion.

No matter who you are, or where you come from, this event is open to everyone. An initiative of the Network of Women Engineers for all KIVI members and stakeholders (including the office), from young to old, and therefore certainly also for KIVI Students and Young KIVI. Inclusion is not just about diversity, but also the key to high performance within teams. In her lecture, our speaker, Esther Mollema, will share valuable insights and practical tips on how to promote inclusion within your team and organisation, overcome unconscious prejudices, and create an environment where everyone feels safe. You can apply these not only in your own organisation or team, but also within our association, your KIVI branch, region or board.

About the interactive Lecture

Inclusion is the driving force behind optimal performance in any team. Numerous studies confirm that the extent to which team members can be themselves directly affects the performance of the whole team. This lecture focuses on understanding and practically applying inclusion within your own team. You will discover how small adjustments in your approach to others can bring about significant changes and lay the foundation for a more inclusive and successful collaboration.

Our esteemed speaker, Esther Mollema, is a sought-after consultant and speaker with expertise in successful entrepreneurship, high-performance organisations, leadership, inclusion & diversity, and overcoming unconscious bias. Ester believes in the power of individual differences between employees and knows how to convey this conviction with passion, humour and expertise. Her dedication and experience have earned her recognition as one of the 100 most successful and influential female entrepreneurs in the Netherlands by TheNextWomen. In addition, Manage HR Magazine placed Esther in the top 10 most sought-after and followed D&I experts in Europe in 2021.

This workshop is intended for everyone, regardless of gender, position or background. It would be great to also have a dialogue with each other about inclusion and diversity at KIVI after this lecture. The lecture starts at 14:15, walk-in from 14:00. Afterwards, the KIVI New Year reception will take place, to which you are of course also cordially invited.
