Would you like to hear more about different welding techniques and try it out yourself in the process?

On Wednesday 4 November, Jack de Groot and Corrie van de Vendel will organise a welding workshop. And if there is a lot of interest, there will be a second evening on Tuesday 17 November.

During the workshop, you will learn, see and experience various welding techniques. By doing it once, you can experience what is and is not possible and what the points of attention are.
In addition, you will be told about the different welding equipment. Various welding techniques are discussed:

- Mig-
- Tig
- Pulsating Mig-
- Pulsating Tig and
- Electric welding.

Jack talks about the welding applications he has and their specific requirements. And he talks about the consequences of welding on material properties.

And then we will work with different metals ourselves to see how differently they work. We will also try to make something

Welding starts at 19:00. Doors will be open from 18.00 and you will be welcomed with coffee/tea and sandwiches.
