The IGK argues that an energy mix with nuclear power is the best option for the Netherlands, based on spatial and technological advantages, safety aspects and costs. The initiative group consists of seven members and is chaired by George Verberg, former CEO of Dutch Gasunie. There is also a sounding board group that contributes ideas in a personal capacity that includes Maria van der Hoeven, Tim van der Hagen, Alexander Rinnooy Kan, Hans Wijers, Anton Broenink and Ad Louter.
The meeting and webinar are free of charge for KIVI members and NNS patrons. Only members of the KIVI Department of Nuclear Engineering are entitled to vote.
