KIVI Department of Nuclear Engineering and NNS are organising a visit to the EPR plant under construction at Hinkley Point C in England on 4 and 5 May 2022. The provisional programme is as follows:

Wednesday, 4 May:

Flight (KLM) from Amsterdam to Bristol. Departure time 16:40, arrival 17:00. By bus from Bristol Airport to Cannington Court hotel (approx. 1 hour) for dinner and overnight stay.

Thursday 5 May:

In the morning visit to the EPR plant and tour there from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm. Around 12:30 lunch and departure for Bristol Airport around 14:30. Flight (KLM) from Bristol to Amsterdam. Departure time 17:30, arrival time 19:45. Participants must arrange their own transport to and from Schiphol Airport.

Participation in this visit to Hinkley Point C is only possible for members of KIVI Kerntechniek and NNS and in principle also for their partners. The cost for this visit is €240 per person. The maximum number of participants is 30 persons. Should the number of registrations (well) exceed 30, we will have to decide not to include the partners of members in this visit.
