New Year meeting
Description
November 2013 marked the tenth anniversary of the commissioning of the High-Level Waste Treatment and Storage Building (HABOG) at COVRA. The HABOG is unique in the Netherlands and will store high-level waste from the Dutch nuclear power plants and research reactors for 100 years. The extended operating life of the Borssele nuclear power plant and the possible realisation of Pallas, among others, will expand the storage capacity of HABOG.
This expansion, just like the HABOG, will be a true work of art that we would like to share with you.
Therefore, during our annual New Year's meeting, we would like to present you the future of HABOG through the eyes of celebrated scientists and artists who will jointly give a new dimension to the concept of time.
A special bus will leave from Goes station to COVRA at 09.40, from COVRA to Goes station at 15.30.
Please register before 17 January via the website www.kiviniria.nl/ke (click on activity). For non-members, stating your name, e-mail address and ID number is sufficient. Please also indicate whether or not you wish to take part in the tour and use the bus.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday 24 January 2014!
