On 15 February 2023, the ANVS issued an establishment licence for the new PALLAS reactor. The PALLAS reactor is the intended successor to the High Flux Reactor in Petten, which has been in operation since 1961.

During a symposium on Friday 14 April next, staff from the PALLAS organisation will talk about the usefulness and necessity of the new reactor and the PALLAS project. In addition, they will talk about what will soon happen in concrete terms.
