Description

For the past 3 years, Allseas has been involved in India's largest offshore field development as main subcontractor. Upon completion, India's current gas production will have doubled. On the east coast in water depths ranging from 0 to 1150 metres, the infrastructure has been built to transport the gas from 18 wells to an onshore terminal. A total of 360 km of pipelines ranging from 3.5" to 24" including 48 PLETs have been installed. These connect the 7 manifolds that were part of the installation work. In addition, 36 umbilicals and 58 jumpers and a variety of smaller structures were installed. More than 10 million m3 of dredging was also carried out in the river and near the coast and about 1 million tonnes of rock was installed after installation of the pipelines.

The presentation will cover the various aspects of the work and, in particular, some of the complex installation work that has been carried out.
