Description

"Pioneering Spirit" fits into Allseas' 30-year tradition of pioneering and always pushing technical boundaries. "Pioneering Spirit" (formerly "Pieter Schelte") is the largest working vessel in the world, designed to install or remove superstructures and substructures of large offshore oil and gas platforms in one piece. The vessel is also equipped for laying large pipelines. "Pioneering Spirit" incorporates all the innovations developed and realised by Allseas over the last 30 years, marking a new era in heavy lifting.

A film will be shown of the removal of the 13,500-tonne Yme platform offshore Norway in August 2016, the first work carried out by "Pioneering Spirit".
