Risk Management in Practice
Description
The Practice & Implementation (P&I) working group of the still young Risk Management & Technology Department (RBT) offers engineers inspiration and practical tips for dealing smartly with risks in their organisations. This is to use risk management to deliver demonstrable added value in times of uncertainty as well as opportunities.
To realise this ambition, the P&I working group is organising a number of workshops within technically oriented organisations in 2014 and 2015. The aim of these workshops is for engineers to learn from the practice of risk management. What works and how it is successfully implemented.
This workshop takes place at Bluewater Energy Services B.V., a leading and global player in the offshore, oil and gas industry. Among other things, Bluewater designs, builds and installs Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) installations. Within Bluewater, risk management is a key success factor to realise the objectives of both clients and the organisation itself.
