Description
Lagerwey stands for quality and simplicity. We design and manufacture our wind turbines ourselves, thus delivering an efficient and reliable product. We prefer to accompany projects from start to finish and therefore also provide a complete service and maintenance package. Our flexible and transparent approach leads to long-term relationships with our partners. Thus, we have been delivering reliable wind energy together with our customers since 1979.
Innovation is at the heart of our success. In the 1980s, we started with two-bladed turbines with a gear mechanism. In the mid-1990s, we developed a three-bladed platform with a passively cooled "Direct Drive Permanent Magnet" generator.
Our "Modular Steel Tower" (MST) is easy to transport and install. It allows us to achieve higher shaft heights, reduce costs and simplifies turbine assembly and disassembly. Recycling of the MST is cost-neutral, thus saving high costs at the end of its life cycle.
Wind energy, combined with energy storage and smart grids, is an important part of our growing, sustainable energy supply.
Safety: Long trousers and sturdy shoes are required for touring the company. Safety shoes are provided.
Accessibility: The plant is easily accessible by car; there is ample parking space. In addition, there are possibilities to reach the company by public transport. Directions to the locations can be found on the left side of the page under the programme.
