SUNCYCLE Solar panels
Description
The Environmental Technology/Food and Green Department invites you to an introduction to SunCycle Holding N.V.'s solar panels.
This year, the time has come: SunCycle is going to put its solar panels into production!
This new generation of solar panels achieves 40% higher yields, 99.9% less expensive semiconductor materials and the production energy is recovered within months.
SunCycle produces solar panels that generate over 40% more yield with 99.9% less of the expensive semiconductor material. Moreover, the environmentally harmful substances hydrochloric acid and trichlorosilane are hardly needed for production.
The SunCycle panels work with a concentrator technology that allows sunlight, which falls on the panel via a rotating mirror, to be focused on a concentrator cell. As a result, the efficiency is more than 40 per cent higher than the current generation of panels.
The environmental benefit consists of the fact that the energy, which it costs to make the system, is recouped within a few months by the electricity produced by the system. The system also produces hot water at a temperature of 50-70 degrees, which is useful in many situations.
After a presentation from idea to development, the solar panels will be shown in various stages of completion
