Theme symposium

Resilience: 'Prepared for a digital nightmare'.

That was the theme of the fifth Agency Telecom symposium 'Stepping up to resilience'.

Much attention was paid to preventive security measures to avoid failure of IT infrastructure, for example. But measures to recover quickly after an incident proved just as important.

These include measures to ensure that business continuity is not disrupted, or is disrupted as little as possible.

In four free webinars, experts shared their knowledge on the subject using practical examples.

- Case study of ICT outages

  • Two organisations talk about an incident within their organisation.
  • How did that incident go and what was the recovery rate like?
  • What lessons were learned from the incident?

- Good practices for resilience

  • Good practices for organising and improving resilience.
  • Which tools can be used for this? What is still missing?

- Remaining resilient in case of chain dependency

  • Organisations are interdependent. How do you organise supply chain management?
  • Why do chains and ecosystems each require their own approach?
  • What options does an organisation have to get a better grip on resilience?

- Resilience at the board table

  • Joint closing with our symposium partners, NCSC, DTC and TNO.
  • A summary of the day discussing whether integrated collaboration is possible in the area of digital resilience and resilience.
  • This webinar was with: Hans de Vries, director NCSC. Michel Verhagen, DTC manager. Henk-Jan Vink, managing director TNO Unit ICT. Angeline van Dijk, director chief inspector Agentschap Telecom.

Agentschap Telecom collaborated for the symposium with the Digital Trust Center of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and TNO.
