Description

Cisco company visit: guide development, support innovation in the Netherlands

Banks and insurance are struggling with social media. Healthcare is looking for beds through home care and the telecom industry is threatened by cybercrime.

What applied research at universities or within the business community is helping to move the chain forward?

On Thursday 26 September, you will have the opportunity to help think about research directions, theses or pilots that will make the difference between innovation power and recession in the triangle of Technical Universities, Cisco and (end) users.

During a company visit to Cisco (Amsterdam Headquarters), we offer a programme in which first the three Technical Universities present their best three PhD researchers. They will compete on the spot for the annual Cisco-KIVI NIRIA Telecommunications Prize. Then, at the chain of your choice, you can contribute ideas about the obstacles that can be solved or circumvented with research in this chain. You will discuss with researchers, professors and industry peers.

Always wanted to contribute ideas on which discipline and which research can make the Netherlands more decisive? Then register now
