Insights into Passive Optical Networks
Wikipedia Passive Optical Networks
Description
Passive Optical Networks (PONs) represents the next wave of communication facilities for building fibre-optic networks deployed to satisfy the ever-increasing need for digital bandwidth to connect homes, both urban and rural. While more choice leads to more options, it also leads to more dilemmas. PONs' technique, technology, implications and benefits and possible new strategic insights into the Internet phenomenon will be discussed.
