Description
The KIVI Telecommunications Department invites you to the Telecom Infra Event organised by FHI with which our department has a partnership.
During this event, visitors will learn about the latest developments in building and maintaining FTTX and LTE networks. These are the two technologies used to continue to meet the growing demand for bandwidth.
At the knowledge market, 17 exhibitors will show the latest developments to build and maintain telecom networks (fibre and LTE) more innovatively.
The programme consists of 19 lectures. The three plenary lectures are provided by Reggefiber, Nokia Networks (speaker is our KIVI TC board member Anne van Otterlo) and Agentschap Telecom. During their lecture, Reggefiber will address challenges in vitrification of the whole of the Netherlands (politically and technically), Nokia Network will talk about wireless network developments for now and the future (5G) and Agentschap NL will discuss spectrum space.
It is also possible to take a unique technical tour of the technical facilities (including the control room) of the Kuip at the end of the day. 75 people can take this tour and full=full!
