About the 5G Masterclass

The 5G Masterclass is an initiative of 5Groningen, a project of the Economic Board Groningen (EBG). It is an educational, interactive event that takes place once every three weeks. Each Masterclass has a 5G-related topic. The two-hour classes are introduced by experts from top players in the telecom world such as KPN, Vodafone, Ericsson, Huawei and TNO. Afterwards, there will be room for questions and substantive discussion. This unique event is free to attend, all you have to do is register here. There is room for a maximum of 15 visitors at a time. So register early to be sure of a place!

Patrick Blankers is programme manager Sustainability at Ericsson for Europe, and head of Regulatory Affairs in the Netherlands. During his 22 years at Ericsson, Patrick has held various roles in strategy, regulation, line management and technology. Before that, Patrick worked for almost 7 years at KPN as a researcher and project manager.
