Malfunctions Lift Bridges Gouda
In Gouda, there are two lift bridges on the railway lines from Gouda to Rotterdam and The Hague. In recent years, there have been frequent disruptions to these bridges, which have inconvenienced train passengers. Over the past 1.5 years, various monitoring, analysis, design and implementation activities have taken place, bringing the bridge failures under control in a structured way and also keeping them under control for the long term.

The bridges fulfil a key function in the Dutch rail network and are in full operation every day. The work therefore presented very specific challenges. During this meeting, Willem Pastink (Movares) and Robert-Jan Koert (Strukton Rail) will tell you how, in close cooperation, they managed to master the failures in this complex environment. You will experience the tension of outage ... and waterway obstructions ... first-hand.

Costs
There are no costs associated with participation for members. Non-members pay 15 euros.
