"Local Rail Act: sense?!"
Description
The Local Railway Act is nearing completion and will soon be debated in the 2nd Chamber. With the Act, the Local Railway and Tramway Act 1900, the Railway Act 1875, the Metro Regulations and the Tramway Regulations have been finally laid to rest, however ... where these old laws indicated how to do things has disappeared in the new Act. The new Act makes clear what responsibilities and processes are. How will the various authorities fulfil their responsibilities in this regard, how will the carriers do so, what is expected of ILT (formerly IVW)?
Kivi Niria Platform Rail Systems has invited two prominent speakers to share their views on the new Local Rail Act.
