Description

The planned metro line has been in the news quite a bit lately, and not in a positive way. Last week, the Veerman committee recommended going ahead with the project. Politicians have yet to speak but the project organisation now has time again to receive guests. The programme covers developments in tunnelling and transport engineering. It is a unique opportunity to descend into the construction site and witness the construction with your own eyes

14.3 pm Gather at Rokin Station construction site at 2.15 pm.
14.30 pm Guided tour of construction site. Depending on the size of the
group in 1 or 2 groups.
16.00 Walk to infocentre N/Z-line near Amsterdam CS.
The following introductions will be given in the infocentre:
* general explanation N/Z-lij
* designing on the boundary of technology
* N/Z-line in transport perspective
19.00 Closing with a sandwich and drinks.

When registering, please indicate male/female and shoe size. This information is needed for the site visit and the accompanying boots.
