Spanbeton is a producer of precast concrete products and offers a solution for every civil precast problem. Spanbeton has 65 years of experience in the precast sector with engineering, production and assembly of precast concrete girders for bridges and viaducts as well as precast concrete rail products, such as sleepers, switch girders and level crossing slabs. Spanbeton is part of the international Consolis group, which produces railway sleepers from Finland to Morocco.
Visit to the production halls
Under Spanbeton's guidance, we will visit the halls where the sleepers and switch girders are produced and, if possible, also the halls where large girders for bridges are tensioned and cast.
Explanation of engineering, production and assembly
Spanbeton will give an explanation of its work in general and in the field of rail in particular.
Drinks and discussion
The afternoon will be closed with networking drinks (without alcohol), offered by Spanbeton.
Accessibility
By car: see directions below. By public transport you can travel to railway station Alphen aan den Rijn and from there by bus or public transport bicycle to Spanbeton. Or you can be picked up by car by one of the KIVI members.
Safety
Safety clothing: preferably bring your own shoes (a limited number are available). Helmets and vests are provided. Please read the safety instructions in advance.
