For "not dicks but polishes", Rotterdam is the place to be. KIVI Traffic and Transport department invites you to a meeting on the application of autonomous vehicles. Speakers from Metropoolregio Rotterdam Den Haag, Rijksdienst voor het Wegverkeer and Havenbedrijf Rotterdam will discuss allowing and applying autonomous vehicles based on concrete Rotterdam cases. With the cooperation of DAMShuttles, experience a ride on the first autonomous bus in Rotterdam traffic.

Much has been dreamt, said and written about self-driving vehicles. It's always slower than you imagined. But they are driving! We will discuss what is involved in allowing autonomous vehicles among other traffic on the basis of concrete developments and applications in Rotterdam.

For this meeting, you will be guests in building Cornerstone, headquarters of Dura Vermeer, the designing builder of infrastructure. Prior to the lectures, you can ride on the autonomous bus (line 533) between the stops Meijerplein (metro stop, P+R) and Airportplein (Rotterdam Den Haag Airport). Meanwhile, the operator of the shuttle (DAM Shuttles) will explain its first experiences. After the lectures, there will be an opportunity to get to know each other further and to strengthen your network for this part of the field. You are most welcome.
