Description
On 16 June, the department has organised an excursion to BCTN container terminal Nijmegen. There are still places available!
BCTN Nijmegen is one of the first players in intermodal container transport in the Netherlands and has been active since 1987. Due to its favourable location on the river Waal, next to the Maaswaal canal and the surrounding A50 and A73 motorways, the terminal Nijmegen has direct connections to Rotterdam and the German hinterland via waterways. The terminal is operational 24/7 and has a variety of logistics activities. This makes the terminal in Nijmegen an important partner of shippers/receivers, carriers and forwarders. As the first successful inland container terminal in the Netherlands, BCTN Nijmegen can build on a long track record based on a large dose of knowledge and expertise.
