The Board of KIVI Division of Tunnel Engineering and Underground Works (TTOW) invites you to attend the annual:

General Members Meeting and open lectures / ITA discussion evening

As usual, the meeting will start with the annual general membership meeting. This will be followed by a sandwich meal, after which, again this year, there will be a number of interesting substantive lectures focusing on design (Blankenburg link), implementation (caissons Çannakale bridge) and renovation (Limfjord tunnel). An interactive 'roulette' session will go through the status of current tunnel projects. From the audience, YOU will be encouraged to explain the status of your work in one minute. It does not matter whether the project is located at home or abroad, is a desk study, will probably never be built or is actually under construction or renovation.

TTOW Young Members

The TTOW young members (TTOWym) were formed in September 2017. Five young engineers with a love for tunnels, organise several activities every year for people under 35 with an interest in tunnels. Last year, they held a networking drink in Delft and visited the North/South Line. To involve more young people in TTOW's activities, YOU are encouraged to bring your young colleagues to this lecture evening. On 21 November next, the Gaasperdammertunnel will be visited, register via the KIVI website.

Costs and registration
If you are a KIVI member, COB participant, under 35 or a student, you can register free of charge. Other interested parties pay 100 euros.
Register via the website (red button), indicating separately whether you will only attend the lecture evening, or also the members' meeting and the lunch.

Hope to see you on 12 December!
