Bosch Transmission Technology is the market leader in the development and mass production of pushbelts for the continuously variable transmission (CVT). Since the start in 1972, continuous investments have been made in the further development of the pushbelt. The company is now responsible for numerous innovations in the CVT field.

Worldwide, Bosch Transmission Technology's products and services are used by various players within the automotive industry for various applications. The core competencies of Bosch Transmission Technology B.V. consist of:
- Mass production of high-quality pushbelts
- Support in the field of transmission software and control
- Testing, prototype development and product release

The originally Dutch invention of this innovative automatic transmission has meanwhile grown into an international success. After the start of mass production in 1985, the CVT grew from niche product to a mature mass product. Total annual production of pushbelts reached 4.3 million units in 2012. The outlook is also positive. The ever-increasing demand for more fuel-efficient cars and reduction of CO2 emissions guarantee further growth in the future.
