FISITA World Automotive Congress
Description
FROM 2 - 6 JUNE 2014, the biennial congress FISITA World Automotive Congres will be organised at MECC Maastricht. FISITA is an international platform that brings together companies and institutes in the automotive industry. For more than 60 years, this congress has attracted influential engineers and business leaders from all over the world. The KIVI Vehicle Technology Section works closely with AutomotiveNL, Flanders' DRIVE and Autocluster.NRW for this euregional congress.
The theme of FISITA 2014 is: 'Intelligent transport to solve our future mobility, safety and environmental challenges'.
Besides the substantive congress, there will also be an exhibition where various companies can showcase their latest technologies. A social programme and various technical visits to companies and institutes in the area will also be organised. In addition, various social and technical activities will be organised for students. Among others, they can present their research in the Student Congress and the most promising students can participate in the Travel Fellowship programme.
