NedTrain Tilburg
Description
Maintenance of passenger and goods trains has been taking place in the centre of Tilburg for over 140 years. The more than 330 'permanent' employees and 90 temporary workers of Revisiebedrijf Tilburg are engaged daily in locomotive overhaul, component overhaul, engineering and support.
During this company visit, it will be the last time locomotives will still be on display. At the end of November 2010, locomotive maintenance will move to Rotterdam. Tilburg will then concentrate only on components and at a new location. All in all, a unique visit!
THIS ACTIVITY IS DESTINED FOR YOUNG INGENIATORS AND TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS.
The plenary part will take place in the canteen, building 68.
